Lagos High Court Gives Four Policemen, Accomplice 250 Years For Robbery
A Lagos High Court in Ikeja, on Thursday sentenced four policemen and a civilian accomplice to a total of 250 years imprisonment for robbery.

The convicts are Bestman Dennar, Musa Mohammed, Peter Enidiok, Godwin Williams and Emmanuel Ajogbor.

Justice Joseph Oyewole found the accused guilty on two counts of robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

He sentenced each of them to 25 years of imprisonment for conspiracy and another 25 years each for robbery.
He, however, said the jail terms would run concurrently.

The convicts were said to have in November 2002 robbed a lorry loaded with lace and George fabrics along Ikorodu-Ijebu-Ode Expressway, where they mounted a roadblock.

They were said to have forced the occupants of the lorry out of the truck and drove off with it.
